Posters of paintings by renowned artists group of La Norditude foundation
En amont by Bruno Côté
Bruno Côté
Bruno Côté’s strong personality, which coulours and breathes life into his work, definitely traces back to his Irish, Scottish and French ancestry.
His drawing and artistic expression were nourished and flourished during his childhood in a family that placed a great deal of importance on art.
The savage beauty of the wild Pacific Coast in British Columbia, the vast, blazing skies of the Prairies, the stength and solitude of the Far North, the chilling hues and majestic proportions of icebergs off the coast of Labrador, as well as the timid lushness of Quebec’s forests are all recuring themes in this artist’s work.
La Norditude foundation
Six of Quebec’s top landscape painters joined together on March 10, 1997 to establish a collection of paintings illustrating the nordicity characteristic of our country.
Their association has since evolved into a foundation focusing primarily on promoting and encouraging the protection, conservation and development of the northern environment and northern Canadian parks, and on funding scientific research applied to these areas that respects their ecological integrity.
